12 dancing princesses PDF Print

Commissioned by the V&A, Metta Theatre present an experiment in story-telling . An extract from Sexing The Cherry - an adaptation for the stage by Poppy Burton-Morgan, based on the original novel by Jeanette Winterson. 12 stories told simultaneously by a physical performer/dancer, a violinist and a illustrator - charting the loves and losses of the 12 dancing princesses.

The performance will take place within Spiral Booths - a small structure designed for performance, by Vazio S/A, as part of the V&A's exhibition - 1:1 Architects Build Small Spaces. The exhibition will take place in the Porter Gallery (left off the main entrance to the V&A). Performances are free and unticketed and will run twice daily (duration 30 mins):

FRIDAY 18th June 7pm and 8.30pm
SATURDAY 19th June 1pm and 3pm

So just turn up and have a wander through the structure!
